Moxy Fruvous

This satiracal and sometimes political band from Thornhill, Ontario, often gave frivolous answers about its name, which comes complete with heavy metal umlaut (possibly borrowed from Motley Crue?). A member eventually admitted that, contrary to the normal criterion for a band name, they purposely chose “a name that wasn’t easy to remember and doesn’t mean anything.”
