Chilliwack

The Collectors found some minor success as a 1960s psychedelic group, but luckily the 1970s weren’t that far away. Changing their namme o Chilliwack – a Native North American term from the Salish language meaning “going back up” – expressed their optimism about making it big. After several Canadian hits in the 1970s, the band finally had its first success in the United Staates in 1981 with “My Girl (Gone, Gone, Gone).”
